Home sweet Home?
Just came back from JB. Kinda influenced by Mingjie. So went there to shop and get some DVDs.
Ooo, the food there is really cheap. I spent 20RM for a course meal, plus the mouth-watering tiramisu. Slurp~ A heaven for cheapos! lolx. Then went to shop around. I got a really cool Mickey Mouse T-shirt from the Walt Disney shop. Felt that it was kind of expensive, but 2nd thoughts, since I came all the way here, well, paying S$50 for that t-shirt is kinda worth it though. Dajie bought a mickey mouse canvas for S$50 as well. Its really cool. can't believe that my t-shirt and that shoe have the same weightage in monetary terms.
The sales assistant at GNC was really helpful. Though I have no intention of getting the weight gainer, she never fails to put on a smile and tell me some tips for weight gaining. My current weight gaining drink (Banana + Full cream milk) was mentioned. I was told to have 6 meals a day, light meals in between every proper meals so as to prevent empty stomach. Else it will result in energy being taken from the muscles and thus, can't put on weight no matter how hard I try. Wow~ Such wonderful tips uh!
The levi's jeans there was freaking cheap as well. Its authentic. Saw a light, not really light, dark, not that dark afterall, jeans which cost ONLY S$60. I don't think you can get it at such a low rate here in Singapore. After much hesitation and modelling down the aisle of the changing room, i decided to give it a missed. I guess will be going back some time this month, either with mum or friends. So get it later then.
And then I spent... let me see.... s$56 on DVDs. The O.C season 1 because I missed some episodes and also One Tree Hill. While hui, ting and dajie decided to help me to add on till it 20 pieces altogether. Gonna be busy slacking at home late this week to catch all the fantastic america sitcom. Too bad Desperate Housewives is still not out yet. Darn!
I also bought a really cool bowl. Stop laughing will you. I told you, its cool, that why I bought it. I saw it along the street stalls while walking to Heeren from PS last week. And that guy was selling at 15grands. I managed to get it in JB for S$4. It was a bargain. Since I did not get my shoe today, I shall get that greenie PONY canvas from Taka soon.
I have an urge to go to Bangkok flea market to shop. The things are a hella cheap. Oh my! if only I have extra cash..
